Bio
Mr. Ayers is admitted to practice law in California federal and state courts. Mr. Ayers represents clients in general civil and business litigation and business transaction, including drafting contracts, other transactional documents, and corporate compliance.
Mr. Ayers focuses his practice on agricultural matters (including grower concerns in Mexico and produce distribution in the United States, PACA/Seed Act Claims, and related cross-border issues). Mr. Ayers also has extensive experience in landlord-tenant law, real estate and Common Interest Development Law, collections, security interests, and trademark matters.
He has advised a wide range of businesses associated with the fresh produce industry, and has considerable experience in the federal courts with PACA and Seed Act claims. He regularly drafts leases for commercial landlord clients, as well as litigating claims arising in the landlord-tenant context.
Mr. Ayers is also proficient in advising small and medium size businesses with respect to corporate formation and compliance, as well as operational issues, such as preparation and negotiation of contracts.
